Top 6 ICO’s of Second Quarter 2018

ICO’s continue to be one of the best ways to multiply wealth in crypto, however, the current sentiment with ICO’s is getting a little flustered with all the scams, regulations and KYC issues.

There are way too many start-up projects asking for your funds and the new market is over saturated and this is a bit confusing for the crypto enthusiast and the market cap.

Those good old days where an ICO would 100x upon arriving to the market seem to be long gone, largely based on all the new blood in crypto that simply want to dump asap as soon as the new coin or token opens in the market, instead of the more traditional approach of “Hodl” until “Moon”.

top ICOs to watch

If we lurk around in any crypto specialty telegram channel it will most likely be inundated with “when moon” and plenty of “Fud” we need to learn to separate the good from the bad and we need to be super picky and cautious of the white papers we read if we want to enjoy the gains seen in the last three years by the lot of projects like:

  • NXT had an ICO price of $0.000006 with an all-time high of $2.16 that is a gain of 3,590,000%
  • ETH had an ICO price of $0.30 with an all-time high of $1,432 that is a gain of 4,772,333%
  • IOTA had an ICO price of $0.0000000002 with an all-time high of $5.69 that is a gain of 1,279,000,000,000%

I have selected six ICO’s that stand apart from the rest of the class of the second quarter of 2018 and yes, they are either available at this moment or will be in the next week or two.

In an effort for transparency, I, will use a series of criteria to rate some ICO’s. Here are the questions I used to gage the success rate of each project. Each category is worth a point.

  • Innovation – Are they solving a problem?
  • Team – Do they have a track record?
  • Product – Is it running? How far from operational? Do they have earnings? Bugs?
  • Experience – How long have they been in the space?
  • Space – Is it saturated or is it a fresh idea?

Gimmer (DAPP)

Calling this Bad boy a bot would be like calling Willy Wonka a candy aficionado.

Its design is not based on a simple script that checks redundancies several times per second and implement a buy or sell.

This innovative AI can use and learn from strategies like using Bollinger bands and even combine them with the Ichi cloud.

The Beta version is currently available for the public to run back end tests and run simulations.

According to their road map their main bot could be live for the public on June.

This project could very well be the beginning of high frequency trades for crypto available for all.

iShook (utility)

Usually when we get in an ICO we are buying into an abstract concept, an Idea. But iShook has a working product generating income.

In any measuring competition they are ahead by several milestones. iShook revolves around the content creation industry: books, magazines, and blogs.

Like a kindle platform that you can interact with the writers.

Content creators can monetize their stories, blogs or literary masterpieces and get paid in the iShook token which they can exchange in the market or hodl for future price increases.

The innovative part is that iShook can and will provide payment advances for exclusive content in an attempt to disrupt the current literary market and give control back to the artists.

This is a complex project but has all the keys to make an immediate impact when fully implemented.

ICO Headstart (Financial)

With the Mother of all Tokens (MOAT) for short you would technically be able to bypass kyc blocks by investing in ICO’s that pass a series of rigorous probes to ensure your safety and gains.

When a platform that lets backers and project creators both benefit the most from the crypto-revolution, everybody wins.

Not just with the help of industry insiders, but rather with the help of any user. The term they use is: “The Wisdom of the Crowd”.

It kind of sounds a bit complex but the simplest way to break it down would be: an ICO for a venture capital fund where you can put your MOAT tokens to work on whatever projects you deem worthy in exchange for tokens for whatever ICO’s are available on the platform at any given moment.

You can choose to fund said project or not, totally up to you the token holder.

This will be the evolution of crowdfunding as long as the kyc issues are addressed.

Dorado (Robotics)

Dorado’s plan is to go beyond the food delivery, to innovate, to go global, to deliver anything customer wants with drones and robots. Artificial Intelligence meets UBER for all deliveries.

Dorado Platform will transform the way goods move around cities or even buildings by enabling anyone to have anything delivered on-demand.

Their revolutionary Logistics platform connects customers with local couriers, drones, robots who can deliver anything from any store or restaurant in minutes.

On paper, this idea is a beast but if remote controls are involved then the FCC gets involved.

So pre-plotted routes will most likely be implemented and developed, and that is an interesting scenario.

CEEK (VR)

With current partnerships with Universal Music, Apple and T-Mobile which are great players in the entertainment industry of Live events, concerts and sports, CEEK has a product you can go buy today and there are even some commercials showcasing the products.

Whether it is the super bowl or a Beatles reunion tour you can view from the first row in the comfort of your PJ’s from your living room couch.

This is only the beginning for this space.

The potential for this project is hard to measure, but the structure is looking good.

NEX (Exchange)

This decentralized exchange is built with Elixir to handle massive order volume, allow cross-chain exchange, and support more complex trading APIs.

Many people do not use DEX’s because they are slow, or they cannot trade with their national currencies.

NEX is the first DEX that will allow its clients to enter the exchange with fiat currencies such as USD, powered by a global network of licensed third parties.

This is a game changer in the exchanges since most of the Crypto gateways offer a small variety when converting from or to fiat.

It is true that exchanges are popping up by the dozen but not many are decentralized.

We need more decentralization. This is a step in the right direction.
